Our Story
At Brit's Doxie Crossing, we are building our reputation as a trusted Miniature Dachshund Breeder in Central Texas.
We are a small family run hobby operation. Our love for Dachshunds started in the early '90s!
In 2020 we started searching for our perfect friend to add to the family.
Quickly there after we began our journey toward growing a breeding program.
We have carefully selected from reputable breeders to create our own home program.
All of our breeders are part of our family and raised with lots of love and care.
Breeders are raised indoor and then come in and out as they mature.
Puppies whelped here are hand raised by my family and live strictly indoor.
We take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health and temperament of all our Miniature Dachshunds.
Some breeding stock is health tested through Wisdom and Embark. Moving forward,
breeders will be tested through GenSol and UC Davis for breed specific testing.
Our newest venture is participating in AKC sporting events.
I am currently attending nose work classes with Ivan (pictured above).
Our goal is to title this stud and provide a sporting line
of pups in the future.
We mainly breed AKC registered Miniature Dachshunds. Every once in a while we offer Continental Kennel Club registered Dachshunds.
Our goal is to share a little bit of our family with yours through the pups that are whelped here.
